Rebecca launched an « ethical » tourist agency in Namibia while tourism in the country is handled mainly by international tours operators. 95% of travel agencies and operators are managed by white people, often foreigners, so Rebecca decided to present her culture in her proper way, from the inside, the heart of the country. She has even been granted by Namibian Government for this action. Wanderzone Tours exists since the beginning of 2006, and proposes townships tours, city tours of Windhoek often forsaken by tourists, and excursions to some national parks.
Her objective is to share with as many people as possible the particularities of Namibian culture. Through these cultural tours, she invites tourists to discuss with people from the townships in order to share their history, difficulties, and their everyday life. She helps communities in paying them some fees.
