81 women has an association status which purpose is not to generate any profit. Its aim is to communicate and encourage projects initiated by young women who were born in 1981 all around the world.    

To achieve this objective, we are two to travel around the globe during one year and discover women of 25, just like us, who could be friends but live very different lives and have other goals. Their common point is the achievement of « positive » life projects. These projects are mainly initiatives which are not necessarily extraordinary as such, but are the realisation of an ambition, a dream.  

The very first objective of this association is to encourage these projects by communicating about them and by creating a network between all these women, in order to give them a chance to express themselves and offer a world perspective to their achievement.  For example, each willing woman will be able to create her own blog on our website in order to present her project.  It is an occasion to express, share and react, maybe to ask for outside help or simply to present their actions. The second objective is to set everything into action in order to help these projects to branch out and motivate other women to realise their own dreams.  Thus, we plan to carry out strong actions meant to draw people’s attention: reports, interviews, a book, exhibitions of our work and organisation of conferences and debates in town halls, schools and companies.
